Marco Benitez, Owner & Lead Technician

Marco has been turning wrenches on residential HVAC equipment in Dallas for over two decades. He founded this Dalton Heating & Air location to run jobs the way he’d want them done at his own house: straight talk, real part numbers, and a written guarantee on every repair. Marco holds EPA Section 608 certification for refrigerant handling and is factory-trained on Carrier, Trane, Lennox, Goodman, Rheem, York, Daikin, Bryant, and American Standard systems. On any given week, you’ll find him diagnosing a failed capacitor in Lake Highlands or walking a homeowner through heat pump options in Oak Cliff. He’s the kind of guy who will tell you when a repair is worth it and when it isn’t, even if the honest answer costs him a sale. Marco lives in Dallas and has strong opinions about brisket that he will share if you ask.

Dana R., Service Coordinator

Dana is the voice on the phone when you call, and she’s been handling Dallas HVAC scheduling for over a decade. She knows the difference between a capacitor issue that can wait until morning and a furnace failure in January that needs a same-day visit. Dana tracks every job from first call to final invoice, which means when she tells you the technician is 20 minutes out, she means it. She’s also the one who makes sure your written estimate and written guarantee paperwork are in your hands before you pay a dollar. Outside of work, Dana runs a small garden plot in East Dallas and has been known to bring surplus tomatoes to the office.

Terrence J., Senior Installer

Terrence leads heat pump and furnace installations across Dallas, and he’s been doing full-system replacements since before ductless mini-splits were mainstream in Texas. He’s factory-trained on all nine major brands we service and holds NATE certification in air conditioning and heat pump installation. Terrence is meticulous about load calculations, the sizing math that determines whether a system actually cools or heats the way it should, and he refuses to cut corners on refrigerant line connections or electrical disconnects. He’s also the crew member most likely to sketch a quick diagram on a notepad to show you exactly where the new equipment goes and why. When he’s not on a job site, Terrence coaches youth basketball in Desoto.

Olivia P., Apprentice Technician

Olivia joined the team two years ago and works alongside Marco and Terrence on both repairs and installs. She’s currently completing her HVAC training and has already earned her EPA Section 608 certification, which means she handles refrigerants legally and carefully. Olivia’s specialty so far is diagnostics on electrical components: contactors, capacitors, control boards, and thermostat wiring. She’s precise, takes notes on every job, and asks the kind of questions that catch small problems before they become big ones. A Dallas native, Olivia grew up in Richardson and can tell you which local taco spots are worth the drive.
